SCORING METHOD
FOR THE HAMMOND INVITATIONAL

The scoring for the Hammond Invitational will be conducted as follows:

Advancement Points
Win in the Championship Bracket - 2 points
Win in the Consolation Bracket - 1 point

Bonus Points
Pin - 2 points
Technical Fall - 1.5 points
Major Decision - 1 point

Placement Points
1st Place - 16 points
2nd Place - 12 points
3rd Place - 9 points
4th Place - 7 points
5th Place - 5 points
6th Place - 3 points

Wrestlers receiving buys will recieve advancement points plus double the bonus points they earn in their next match. Which means if Wrestler A recieves a bye in the first round, then pins his next opponent, he will earn 2 advancement points for the bye, 2 advancement points for the next win, plus 4 bonus points for his pin. Total of 8 points.

Byes will be placed on the bracket randomly.
